Flow IV provides mobile IV hydration and wellness support after clinician screening. This service is not prenatal, urgent, or emergency care and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or pregnancy complications. Contact your pregnancy care clinician for medical concerns and call 911 for emergencies.

Who this may be appropriate for

Mama To Be may be appropriate for eligible pregnant clients seeking hydration and nutrient wellness support after individual clinician screening.

Clients should involve their prenatal care clinician when they have questions about symptoms, medications, ingredients, or whether IV therapy fits their pregnancy care plan.

This service does not provide prenatal care or diagnose or treat pregnancy complications, dehydration causes, nausea, or other medical conditions.

What to expect during your appointment

The clinician reviews gestational stage, symptoms, pregnancy history, medications, allergies, prenatal-clinician guidance, and relevant medical conditions before deciding whether service is appropriate.

The appointment includes screening, setup, IV placement when appropriate, monitoring, and cleanup. The infusion generally takes 20-40 minutes, but the full visit may take 45-60 minutes.

Zofran and optional add-ons are considered only after screening. Availability on the menu does not mean an ingredient or medication is appropriate for every pregnancy.

Safety screening

Pregnancy-related screening may include vomiting frequency, ability to keep fluids down, pain, bleeding, dizziness, blood pressure concerns, swelling, fetal concerns, medications, and guidance from the prenatal care clinician.

Flow IV may require prenatal-clinician guidance or decline service when symptoms, gestational considerations, medications, or medical history fall outside mobile wellness support.

Clients should not delay contacting their OB-GYN, midwife, emergency department, or labor and delivery unit because a mobile appointment is available.

When IV therapy is not appropriate

Urgent pregnancy symptoms such as heavy bleeding, severe abdominal or pelvic pain, fainting, severe headache, vision changes, chest pain, trouble breathing, fever, or concerning fetal changes require immediate medical guidance.

Persistent vomiting, inability to keep fluids down, signs of severe dehydration, contractions, fluid leakage, or rapidly worsening symptoms should be evaluated by the pregnancy care team.

A clinician may decline service because of medical history, medication considerations, abnormal vital signs, pregnancy complications, or the need for diagnostic evaluation.

Hotel, home, and group appointment logistics

Flow IV can meet eligible clients at Las Vegas homes and hotels when clinician screening, access, privacy, and a clean setup area are appropriate.

Have prenatal-clinician contact information, medication and supplement lists, gestational information, and relevant care instructions available during screening.

A support person may be present if the client prefers. Hotel guests should provide complete room, security, parking, and callback details before arrival.
